Day 1 (28.05.11) will cover foundation jumping and recall to heel skills.
Other skills required in this handling system will also be covered.
There will be an introduction to the 6 basic cues and the application of 1 or 2 of these in simple sequences.

Day 2 (29.05.11) will follow on from Day 1 where multiple cues in more complex sequences will be required.

Day 3 (30.05.11) will be a short workshop on running contacts (auditing only).
This will cover what foundation skills will be required before training a running contact, then the beginning steps of training a running contact all the way through to completion.

The seminars will be held at the Canine Grounds on Warton Road.
Start times will be 8.30am and running a full day for the 28th and 29th.
The Running Contacts workshop on the 30th is expected to run for 4 hours.

Training Philosophy

The ACWA Training philosophy emphasizes positive training techniques with your dog. The sport of agility is meant to be enjoyed by both the dog and handler. A flat buckle collar is ESSENTIAL for training.

ACWA is a CAWA (Canine Association of WA) Affiliated and ANKC Affiliated club (Australian National Kennel Council) club and training stresses ANKC rules. All ACWA Show n Go's, Mock Trials, Members Competitions, and Trials are CAWA sanctioned shows.
